Synopsis: Average Life Expectancy in Singapore is one of the highest in the world. In this talk, we will discuss the main headlines on what are the important areas to consider in planning for a graceful ageing in place process.
Short Profile 2021
Dr Tan Jit Seng is a practicing medical doctor graduated in Singapore since 2002. He is currently the founder and senior home care physician of Lotus Eldercare, a health and wellness service dedicated to caring for more dependent Older Adults. Dr Tan is also the Author of the textbook “Caring for Dependent Older Persons” and founded a Caregiver Academy in Yangon, Myanmar. He is currently the Honorary Auditor of Gerontology Society of Singapore and Board Member of Caregiver Welfare Association, and CaringSg, 2 registered Charitable Organisation in Singapore. Since 2019, Dr Tan also help created and served as Chairperson of Advisory Board for Eldex Asia, an Eldercare Exhibition and Conference which present a comprehensive spectrum of new and innovative solutions, products, services and technology by leading manufacturers and brands from around the world for the rapidly aging Asian societies.
