Lotus Eldercare was engaged by transportation leaders in Singapore, Silveray Pte Ltd, to give a workshop on transporting Clients with Cognitive Impairment.
It was a very interactive session with the drivers vocalizing their issues at work and seek advice from Dr Tan.
Lotus Eldercare was invited by Queenstown Public Library 49th anniversary celebration. A public talk entitled: Caring for Older Adults with Dementia was scheduled as part of the celebrations of the oldest public library in Singapore!
We were delighted to be there and shared our knowledge on Dementia and Dementia care with the active agers. Before the session, participants went through the "HAPPY" Program, a series of exercise targeting both the mental agility and physical exercise. The talk was due for 1 hour, however after that, there were many questions from the public and we learned much from one another.
Lotus Eldercare was honoured to be able to share some of our experience from the past 10 years with the staff of Jamiyah Nursing Home at West Coast Road, Singapore on the 28th of June 2018.
Dr Tan Jit Seng was invited as the speaker in an event hosted by Speedoc to share experiences on doing house calls on the 31st March 2018.
Our topic for the event is entitled: House Calls 101: Opportunities vs Pitfalls
It was a relaxing sharing of home visit experiences with physician interested in housecalls. Many thanks for Speedoc for hosting and sponsoring the wonderful event!
Lotus Eldercare and Dr Tan Jit Seng shared a session on the findings of Global Pain index and the various treatment options on common causes of pain such as knee pain.
The event was held at HDB hub on the 7th March of 2018. There was a full crowd of healthcare professional exchanging their concerns and their issues arising from daily interactions with patients.

Lotus Eldercare was involved in a public forum in November 2017 organised by NTUC Unity. Our topic was on Caring for Dry and Sensitive Skin, talk given in Mandarin.
It was a well attended event with a full crowd at the venue. Participants were very forthcoming with questions and the atmosphere was excellent!
