Lotus Eldercare was invited to Singapore University of Social Sciences (Master of Gerontology) Course as a guest speaker to share our experiences in dealing with issues of ageing families in Singapore.
It was a fun and interactive session where we discussed many aspects of care, either long term or palliative and some of the examples of financial supplements for such care.
Topics discussed include some of the financial support like Eldershield, CareShield Life, CPF Life, rental of rooms, Lease Buyback, care decisions in terms of ACP, AMD and LPA, and Long term care decision making.
A tool used by Lotus Eldercare on risk stratification of whether to bring patients for more intensive and invasive care was also discussed.
